I have to admit that I really don’t like to talk about myself, but here is just a little bit more about me.
I grew up in Parma, Ohio, graduated from Parma Senior High and went on to Lutheran Medical Center School of Nursing. I have 2 brothers and their families along with my dad still living in Florida/Ohio.
In 1976 I married the most awesome guy on this earth, Jon and we have lived happily ever after. Oh, there are lots of other things in there. Like we have 2 absolutely wonderful sons, Justin and Brett, and they are married to 2 absolutely adorable and wonderful ladies, Susanne and Heather. And we have 2 absolutely adorable, precious and loving granddaughters, Harper and Amariah. Oh and they all have dogs, giant dogs, Nev, a retired greyhound and Maggie, a yellow lab. I am a clergy wife and so our family has lived in the fishbowl of clergy life for 43+ years. We’ve lived in 10 different states and way too many cities to name. But, that only means that we have wonderful friends all over the country and lots of places to travel to.
Jon and I have a passion for travel and for experiencing all types of cultures. We have been so fortunate to have been able to travel to almost every state in the country (I’m missing Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Hawaii and Alaska) and have visited the Bahamas, Israel, and Ireland, Haiti, Mexico, Panama, Cuba and Dominican Republic. Of course, we have so many place still on our bucket list!
Besides my passion for my family and the time we are able to spend together and my love for travel my next biggest love is being able to work side by side with my husband in his ministry. I love hearing how God is working in peoples lives and seeing a transformation in people. I love being able to let people know that there is this most awesome God out there that just loves us as we are- He plays no favorites!
I am blessed by the awesome life that God has given me, my husband, my children and their wives, our granddaughter, their dogs and our entire extended family along with many, many friends all over the place!
